Today we took a nice trip up to Aiken, South Carolina. We traveled up with Elder and Sister Berry and met up with another couple, the Rapleys. Together we went up to the Hopeland Gardens, took part in a BBQ cook-off and wondered around the town square. We also visited the Hitchcock Woods. Here are some photos to take a look at.

This evening we met a lady and her son. She is going through a divorce; so we hope that there will be something we can do for her.

This morning we slept in a little later than usual. We needed a rest from yesterday's mentally exhausting day.

We had a real nice visit with a lady this afternoon whose husband will deploy to Egypt soon. She will be left by herself for a year. We offered to her our services and to call upon us at anytime.

Then this evening we attended a 30th birthday party for one of our military men. He, too, will deploy within a few months. His wife will be left alone. Soon we will have many families without husbands and fathers in their homes. Hopefully, they will call upon us as needed. We will certainly call upon them frequently.
