It has been a very nice Sabbath Day. A good number of our troops attended meetings today. The Spirit has blessed and inspired them to come and to attend to their duties. Also, two of them brought nonmember friends with them. They were well received and had a very enjoyable experience with us. We are hopeful that they will continue to come and enjoy the love and fellowship that exists with Saints.

After services ended, we headed over to the hospital to meet the wife and mother of the family who we visited yesterday. We found her along with her husband and one of their daughters. Elder Gowans and the young Elders gave her a blessing before we left. It brings us a lot of joy to bring a little happiness to the sick.

Later in the evening we visited another family who will only be here for a total of 6 months. Dad is in training and once the training completes they will be assigned somewhere, as yet they do not know where. They have 5 delightful children, the oldest is 14 and the youngest is about 3. We first met them at the hula-hoop day at the library last week, but we didn't know they were members and since we cannot wear our missionary badges while serving in the library they didn't know we were missionaries. It was a funny situation. They wondered why this lady and man were all dressed up doing hula-hoop and then inventorying books, and we wondered if by chance this family was LDS or not. We don't proselytize while doing our weekly service, so we didn't ask them any questions about being a church member or not. Then we find out later that they are the family we had an appointment with today.
