This morning we did our weekly service at the Post Library. Afterward we were able to get Sister Gowans' Red Cross applications finished up. So she can now do her service time on Mondays with Elder Gowans. The Post held its Independence day celebrations today. We took Elder and Sister Berry with us up to the Post. While there we had an appointment to visit a family on Post; so we took an hour and went to visit a very young couple and their first child. Afterward we went back up to the celebration  area and walked among all the vendors and demonstration teams. The fireworks began about 2130 and lasted for about 20  minutes. It was quite spectacular. The Post band played music during the firework display, among which was the different service theme songs. We had a real nice time.
