This afternoon, we had another great lesson with Brother Janssen. We taught him the basic doctrines of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Faith, Repentance, Baptism, the Gift of the Holy Ghost and the need to Endure to the End of our lives, faithful to the covenants we have made with our Heavenly Father. At the conclusion of this very spiritual lesson, he said that he felt touched by the Spirit, that it was making more sense to him and that things were coming much more clear. We love the Janssen family and feel so blessed to be a part of his conversion to the gospel. Of course, conversion comes through the power of the Holy Ghost, we simply present the doctrines and the Holy Ghost does the converting.

From the Janssen  family, we dashed to the graduation of Brother Sharp. He was the only LDS student who graduated today. He will head home tomorrow.

After dinner, we went out to Evans to visit a new family to the area, the Rockwoods. Brother Rockwood graduated from the same dental school as Jacob. Both he and his wife said they remembered Jacob and Kathryn. This is the second family that we've met who knew Jacob and Kat while at dental school. We had a  nice visit with them ; as with the many others we have met, it would be nice if we had the opportunity to get to know them all better.
