We have had a wonderful Sabbath Day! This morning, we drove up to Roy to be with the Wilkinson family for the blessing of their baby, Rebekah. Jacob and Kathryn and family came, Grandma and Grandpa Neal, and Wilkinson came out as well as Rosalee and David and Mike and Rosemary Bennett. It was a wonderful sacrament meeting. After the meeting was over, we all gathered at the Wilkinson's for a brunch; there was plenty of food to go around for everyone who was there.
Later in the afternoon, we attended the Windsor Meadows 1st ward and was able to greet and renew many friendships. Bishop Mangum asked Elder Gowans to say a few words in place of a speaker who was unable to make it. He spoke for a few minutes about teaching children to prioritize their time lives, always remembering what is most important. We also attended Sunday School and a small portion of the third hour and then left for the Crosby's to assist Jacob and Kathryn in blessing their new baby, Calvin Leon. We had a wonderful evening together with most of our family and many of the Crosby's as Jacob gave a beautiful blessing to Calvin. Lots of good food and great company.
Currently we are having a nice visit with one Brother Alexzander Child one of our former Student/Soldiers from Fort Gordon. He is getting ready to go on his mission in about 2 weeks.
