Today Joe and Sarah were married in the Bountiful Temple! We arrived at 1:50 pm for the 2:15 wedding time. We were supposed to be there at 1:45, however, traffic was heavy and we ended up arriving a little late. Joe had asked Elder Gowans to be one of the two official witnesses, so after arrival, he had to hurry in and sign the paper work as a witness. Joe and Sarah had asked Dad to perform the sealing and he gave a wonderful ceremony. After the ceremony was complete, we all went out onto the temple grounds and took many photographs. We will post them at a future date. In between the wedding and the reception, we went to see the new home that Carol and Bernie are building; it will be a beautiful home. We then all came up here to Layton to hang out and talk before going to the reception. The reception was incredible! A great big affair at a local country club in Kayesville. We were there from about 6 pm to 9:30 pm. It was estimated that 500 people came out. It has been a very nice day.
This morning, we did a little shopping and then knocked on two doors to see if we could find at home the parents of two of our missionaries serving in Georgia; didn't find anyone home.
