This afternoon, we met with the Call family here in Augusta; they live in the Grovetown ward boundaries. During our visit, we learned that other families who we had met plus themselves had all got together for a BBQ. We had concerns about some of these families, but when we learned that they were all making friends it really gave us a sigh of relief.
This evening, we met with another new family, the Fishers. We had a nice visit with them and their children; they were behind in their schedule, they had just sat down to eat, so they ate and we all chatted. We joined in with them in their family time where they read a few verses of scripture, sing a song and have a prayer. It was real sweet. Then we took sister Fisher with us to see Sister Dixon and Jack; sister Dixon was not feeling too well, so we gave our lesson, showed her a video depicting a little church history and then left. It was our last new member lesson with her.
