Most of the day has been spent allowing Sister Gowans to rest her knees. So while she was doing that, Elder Gowans prepared the Christmas letter that we are now in the process of sending out to everyone. We should have them all out by tomorrow.
This evening, we drove out to post to meet a new family in the Augusta ward, Brother and Sister Smith. She is from Oregon, he is from Virginia, they met at BYI. They have 3 little girls the first two being twins. They just returned from spending two years at Yong San in Korea. They said they really enjoyed it there. Anyway, we had a nice visit with them; during these visits with these families, we try to get acquainted and build a relationship of love and trust with them in the hour we have to spend with them. We also explain to them the role of the Military Relations Mission.
Afterwards, we drove up to the Mack's to pick up the Meacham's candy that they ordered from her. We had a nice visit with the family; Brother Mack should return home on Friday from his deployment; it will be wonderful to have him home.
