This morning we attended our Zone Training Meeting. The mission has been introduced to new a teaching tool that will greatly enhance the learning experience of those studying the gospel. It is almost as if they teach themselves; the idea is to have them view paintings, photos, drawings and so forth and have them explain the feelings, promptings and ideas they receive as they view these items. It could be quite revolutionary.

This evening, we taught our weekly institute class. The instruction came from section 124 of the Doctrine and Covenants. We centered our teaching around the 1845 proclamation of the church to the world's leaders and then also around the building of the Nauvoo Temple. We discussed how we do not receive the fullness of the priesthood until after we have received the ordinances of the Temple.
