This evening we visited Jacob's old missionary companion, Brother Baum. He is a very nice young man, who will be turning 30 at the end of this month. We talk a lot about the funny things in the family quite often centering around the children when they were younger. He seems to enjoy the stories.

Afterwards, we went to visit Brother and Sister Halford, she suffers terribly from all sorts of ailments, which keep her in constant pain. We wish there was something we could do to help her, but at this point nothing has revealed itself to us. He serves very faithfully in the Branch Presidency, so we see him nearly weekly, but we usually only see her when we go to home teach. We encouraged him to see if he can obtain permission to administer the sacrament to her each Sunday, so that she will at least have that opportunity to weekly renew her covenants.

More photos! This is Rainbow Row. We don't know if each of the homes that make up Rainbow Row have a choice in what color they paint their homes or not. But as you look at them you can see that there are  no two homes or businesses of the same color standing side by side. Sister Gowans had been waiting nearly 30 years to see this.
