This afternoon, we were able to find Tony at home who lives just down the street from us a mile or so. Our young Elders had been teaching him when suddenly his wife who was already very ill and in a nursing home took a turn for the worse and passed away. He has taken her passing very hard. We went to give our condolences and to see if there was anything we could do to be of assistance. We assured him that we were there to be his friend and to help him through this difficult time.

We resumed our Institute of Religion class today studying the 129th and 130th sections of the Doctrine and Covenants. These two sections contain inspired instruction on several important subjects necessary to our understanding the nature of the Godhead, the law on which blessings are received, what we take with us when we die, the ministry of angels and ministering spirits and so forth. It was a fine lesson, we felt a strong presence of the Spirit there.
