This morning during our service at the Library, we left a little early so we could go to Sister Gowans' doctor appointment. He said she was definitely a candidate for surgery. He said his scheduler would contact us by Monday; well, about 1 hour later, while we were back at the Library, the scheduler called and set up an appointment for the 6th of February. Although it is nearly 3 weeks away, at first we were led to believe it could be the end of February; so we are thankful for it being this soon. We ask that you remember her in your prayers, and also the doctor that he will be guided to use his skills appropriately to effect her healing.

This evening, we visited with Sister Arnett. She is well and as normal, we had a good lengthy visit with her.

We will be heading to bed early tonight, so we can arise early and be off to Macon for a couples conference at the Mission Home.
